Parents Make Tragic Decision: 'Beautiful Infant' Charlie Gard Has Passed Away
Little infant has died few days after his parents approved to end their combat to keep him on life support.
The terminally sick boy died in hospice, under the terms of an end-of-life plan approved by High Court judge. Charlie Gard did not even make his first birthday.
The news was confirmed on 28th of July, 2017, Friday, when Connie Yates, Charlie's mom, said that her little infant moved to hospice, regardless our request to let him pass away at home, she added that they are so proud of him.
Nicholas Francis, High Court judge, had accepted an end-of-life plan, one day before.
Before Charlie was to be transferred the hospice, he received care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. It is still not obvious if he died in the hospital or in hospice.
Charlie, who was born on 4th of August, 2016, inherited an incomplete gene which affects the cells that are responsible for respiration and energy production.
